Happy 4th Anniversary to NC Cardinal!

In June 2011 Equinox migrated two pilot libraries, Cleveland County Library System and Mauney Memorial Library, to NC’s brand new Evergreen system. Since then, the State Library of North Carolina and Equinox have worked together to add 20 more library systems consisting of over 100 branches, making Cardinal one of our busiest resource sharing networks. Together we will add five more library systems over the next year and embark on projects to streamline service delivery for staff and patrons, all while the State Library is busy creating many exciting new programs for member libraries.

Equinox has always prided itself on working in partnership with library consortia, and the success and growth of NC Cardinal is a testament to that strategy.  Rather than traditional, static product offerings, we aim to provide those technology services that are most needed by libraries, and to work with libraries to determine what new and different services will most benefit our customers and their patrons.

Over the last four years, Equinox has had the opportunity to provide many innovative services to NC Cardinal in various areas, from custom software development to specialized support, training, and configuration services.  These opportunities have strengthened both NC Cardinal and Equinox, and have benefited the broader Evergreen community, as well.

And, so, it is in the spirit of this strong relationship that we at Equinox offer congratulations and celebrate the accomplishments of NC Cardinal after four years of rewarding work.  We are proud to be a part of your success, and we look forward to the bright future of this partnership!
