DULUTH, Ga., Nov. 16, 2017 -- Equinox is pleased to announce that they have successfully migrated the Shamokin & Coal Township Public Library to Evergreen within the PaILS SPARK Consortium.
This move includes more than 6,500 patrons and over 49,500 bibliographic records. For this migration, Equinox collaborated with the PaILS consortium and Shamokin & Coal Township Public Library to design and implement Evergreen policies, OPAC branding, Evergreen notifications, and supported 3rd party integrations. As part of the SPARK consortium, Shamokin & Coal Township Public Library is hosted and supported by Equinox on their industry leading Sequoia platform.
"Equinox/Spark have been extremely accommodating during our accelerated migration. Their staff has been supportive during this process. They included us in nearly every major decision. We felt like we were a part of this migration every step of the way." Victoria Ryan M.L.S, Library Director
“When I first found out that Shamokin was moving forward with their migration to SPARK, I was so excited. This has been a long time coming for them. It's so nice to see them joining with their fellow Pottsville District libraries. Victoria's enthusiasm made the migration an absolute delight, and I appreciate the opportunity to be a part of their transition to the SPARK and Evergreen communities!”- Erica Rohlfs, Equinox Project Manager
